This is quite possibly my favorite commercial. I love it for two reasons: the dude is seriously nice to look at and it's randomly funny. Anyway, after examining this video, I realize that the the appeal is for men and how to "please" their women. Also, it appeals to women who want their men to be the actor in the commercial.
The fact of the matter is, men are typically not going to be a woman's fantasy man and do all the right things 100% of the time, but with Old Spice they can pretend to be. These series of commercials give examples of various things men should do that women would love, including the looks. But, just like the theme of the commercial, it's more of a fantasy than reality.
